Rapha has expanded its Performance Trailwear collection by adding four merino wool tops to the range. Designed for trails, the brand says this collection is designed to optimise airflow and allow for a complete range of motion - and keep you stink-free.
Rapha already uses merino wool in its other cycling apparel, but has now taken the natural fibre and blended it with synthetic to create the durability needed on trails. Merino wool is known for its sweat-wicking, odour resistance and thermal regulation properties, which makes it great for comfortable riding - day after day. Long Sleeve Mtb Top
All of the garments in the Trail Merino collection come with iron-on-patches so you can fix your top in case of a crash.
Let’s take a closer look at the four Trail Merino pieces.
These two shirts, available in short and long-sleeved styles, are made of the proprietary merino/nylon blend and have a polyester accent stripe on the sleeve. Both are available in dark grey, pale green and dark blue.
This is a sleeveless tank top made from Rapha Performance Merino Off Road Wool, which is a blend of merino wool and nylon. The top is available in two colours: pale green and black.
For a little bit more warmth, the women’s three-quarter-sleeved t-shirt has a very relaxed fit and three-quarter sleeves. Comes in dark grey and in an ombre pale green.
